While his roots emerge from blues music, Taj is a polycultural musician, a multi-hegemonic artist. From his prophetic imagination, he has shaped music that is as heterogeneous as it is lucidly transgressive. He has traveled the world, immersing himself in diverse musical cultures that have helped form his uniquely eclectic universe.
