Blues music has been experiencing a revival for several decades, with the emergence of a large number of young artists with a long-term projection. Blessed by the sound and magic of the 1976 TDSV Gibson ES-355 guitar, named Christal, D.K. Harrell has inherited Lucille's irreplaceable vibrato technique on the strings, and contributes to the collective memory of B.B. King. Born D'Kieran Harrell in Louisiana, he is the latest to arrive at the scene at the age of twenty-six, and in just four years has powerfully attracted the attention of fans an media since his first album, released in 2020, which offers a live show of great artistic and creative magnitude. This is classic blues without adulterating any of its essentials in the 21st century, in the hands of a bluesman who does not hesitate to incorporate string sections into his recordings, does not give up on winds to codify everything, uses the guitar as another appendage to his body. Harrell is a bold and visionary composer; the future is already written for him; he just needs to follow the path that will lead him to become a new legend.

"Grown Now"
Lyrics
That I'm grown now
I ain't begging for a loan
Cause I make it on my own
Yes, I'm grown now
Put me through the test
I finally found success
I'm grown now
Dreamed about tailored suits
With suede italian boots
I got 'em
I'm grown now
Couldn't stay out past the light
Now I live the night life
Yes, I'm grown now
They used to call me green
Now I'm on the king on the scene
I'm grown now
Le me rap to ya
I stand on business
Like Al Capone
We can get down and party
Or baby you can be gone
It don't make me no nevermind
My schedule is always full
Self made man with the master plan
Educated by the streets and the school
I was living on the street
But I got back on my feet
Baby, I'm grown now, I'm grown now
Many wasted years
So many wasted tears
But I'm grown now, yes I'm grown now
Put me through the test
I finally found success
Hey, I'm grown now, I'm grown now
Hey mama look at this big boy
Making people jump for joy
I'm grown now, I'm grown now, yeah
