Born in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1989, Samantha Fish was part of the RUF Records family from her debut album, "Runaway," in 2011 until 2022, when she released her seventh album, the EP, "The Stardust Sessions." After releasing a live album, "LIVE" (2022), through Cleopatra Records, Fish signed with Rounder Records and recorded "Faster" (2021) and later joined Jesse Dayton for the 2023 release of "Death Wish Blues." "Paper Doll" is her third release with Rounder, and it's a ferocious statement, an all-out assault of wild, powerful, and masterfully crafted slide guitar riffs that redefine what contemporary blues-rock is all about.
