Born in Chicago in 1985 and based in Nashville, TN, guitarist, singer and songwriter JD Simo was a member of the Don Kelley Band (2007-2012) before founding the band SIMO which he led between 2012 and 2018. As a solo artist, he released his first musical work in 2002. Born in Fayette County, TN, in 1973,  multi-instrumentalist Luther Dickinson shook the foundations of contemporary blues by forming the North Mississippi All Stars with his brother Cody, fusing Hill Country Blues with his rough, forceful guitar. Both guitarists have been at the forefront of blues music in recent decades and for the first time they have joined forces on this album, backed by drummer Adam Abarashoff. The album is a sonic experiment with guitars and percussion in which interpretive freedom is above any predetermined instruction, it's blues music taken to an unsuspected limit, nine songs that overflow with imagination and choral legitimacy. JD and Luther reach a sublime level of interpretation that describes this album with parameters of almost scientific research.
