Since July 2026, Jad Tariq has been keeping busy, having been recruited by Bob Dylan as a guitarist for his concerts. Born in Connecticut to a Palestinian father and an American mother, Jad spent his early childhood in Syria before his family permanently relocated to the United States. While studying business administration in Memphis, he discovered music firsthand, immersing himself in the city’s R&B, blues, and soul scenes, while drawing inspiration from the guitar playing of Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
