Since 2021, Reali has been based in Delaware. Born in New York, he built his entire career as a blues artist in Washington, D.C. A highly respected sound engineer, Reali is a guitarist deeply rooted in the many traditions of Delta blues. He has independently released three albums and became a Deadhead out of sheer necessity after discovering an album called "Shakedown Street", where Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir showed him that the blues could also serve as a path toward a new kind of collective consciousness. Once again, rock 'n' roll revealed the blues as the foundation of popular music. As Reali himself likes to say, “On the eighth day, God created the Grateful Dead.” He became captivated by the band's guitars, sonic textures, effects, and psychedelic spirit. "Grateful Blues" is his tribute to those formative years and his heartfelt thank-you to Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir, two incomparable musical geniuses.
