The Finnish Wentus Blues Band has been the most international European blues band since 1986. After a first album in 1989, their recording career has been parallel to their affiliation as a backing band of American blues artists on their European incursions. Since 2014, they definitively focused on their own career as a band and since then they have performed in more than twenty countries, performing almost two hundred performances every year. Together with the bluesman Eddie Kirkland they spent ten years of touring and recording and it's now, when the bluesman would have turned one hundred, that when they pay him this tribute with some unsurpassed tapes made with Kirkland for three years shortly before his death in 2011.
