Vin Mott 2.webp

Austin born Vin Mott has been prowling the blues circuits in the States schrome://newtab/ince 2015. From one of the cradles of the blues, he moved to New Jersey where he studied primary and secundary school, later graduating from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, In that city he played drums in various combos and finally, back to NJ, he founded the Vin Mott Blues Band. The work of the Texan harmonica player has been in constant progression, consolidating his presence on the national circuit after three released albums. "Blues Omertà" is his fourth album and it's definitive. Mott plays in addition to harmonica, guitar and drums, backed by bassist Steve Kirsty and the occasional helping hand of Jack Stanton's steel guitar. One of the album's greatest persuasions can be found in Mott's songwriting aptitude, all thirteen songs are original and have a distinct personality that hooks the listener from the first listen. Vin Mott is at a level where his mastery with the harmonica shares the limelight with his sogwriting ability, with a simple and efficient instrumentation as well as a regenerative will, Mott offers us a journey through different styles of blues always loyal and committed to the most classic formulations of the twelve bars.
