Between 2010 and 2019, Sugaray Rayford (Caron Rayford) released five albums. Not only are five albums all essential but crowned Sugaray as the most qualified emerging soul blues vocalist of that decade. Before, he sang in bands like the magnificent Aunt Kizzy'z Boys, with whom he recorded two essential albums, "Trunk Full Of Bluez" and "It's Tigh Like That", and with The Manish Boys, another of the definitive bands in those years, joining them on their 2012 album "Double Dynamite". Sugaray is pure soul, his vocal power is torn funk, the blues is in every corner of his spirit and his essence is to transmit it in each song, there is no other like Sugaray. After the album "Somebody Save Me" released by Forty Below Records in 2019, the Californian label has just released this second album "In Too Deep", in which Rayford once again shows his absolute potential as a singer and frontman leaving clear to all fans that his generosity as a performer has no limits for now. A real joy from the first to the last note.
