tony coleman
Born in 1955, Tony Coleman is a blues drummer / The rhythmic soul in the good times with B.B. King, Bobby Bland, Otis Clay or Albert King / His drumsticks have also been behind Etta James, ZZ Hill or O.V. Wright, always powerful and forceful building a rhythmic wall to the needs of each frontman / His relationship with Russell Jackson goes back to when they met in the army, together they started a musical career that has lasted until today / The edition of "Changing Times" released by Little Village Foundation, the second album as Silent Partners, is the clear evidence / Coleman is still today a proactive musician, a luxury drummer in any recording and in fact he's already a legend.

rusell jackson
Born in 1954, Russell Jackson is a blues bassist. He has been an innovative bass player, the funk rhythm that his bass strings throw has them on his property. His contribution in the B.B. King orchestra was an explosion of originality and musical authority. He began his long and fruitful career with his great friend Tony Coleman in the Otis Clay band, he continued to support the rhythm in the bands of Luther Tucker, Matt Murphy, Lucky Peterson, Kenny Neal or Katie Webster in the eighties and more recently with Shawn Holt or Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Jackson can probably be considered one of the best bass players in the history of blues. A real pleasure to listen to Russell Jackson in such good shape.

JONATHAN ELLISON
Born in Tennessee, the young Jonathan Ellison is the new guitar king on Memphis' Beale Street / Emerging from his gospel family tradition, this guitarist and singer was for years the leader of Denise LaSalle's backing band and also played behind the blues and R&B singer Latimer / which does not prevent him from stating that he is also influenced by pop bands such as U2, who made a splendid cover of their hit "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" / Guitarist for house band BB King Club in Memphis, Ellison has been an ever-progressing musician and has been wisely selected to replace guitarist Mel Brown as the third member of Silent Partners on the band's sophomore effort.
As he himself states : "Music is like an extension of my body, and everything that I have ever done in life." Well, we hope to see you soon on the road.

Cream were the first supergroup in rock history. Three exceptional musicians at the maximum of their creativity. Silent Partners are a blues supergroup. Drummer Tony Coleman and bassist Rusell Jackson, two musicians with unquestionable careers, and Jonathan Ellison, a guitarist on a clear and evident rise. The first Silent Partners album was released in 1989 by Antone's Records with the presence of guitarist Mel Brown, who died in 2009, along with Tony and Rusell. Little Village Foundation has just released, more than thirty years later, a second album by the band, "Changing Times", with renewed approaches but with the same intensity and fullness of energy as its predecessor. It's an album of inestimable richness, a musical concept where the magic of each musician prevails in favor of a set of ten impeccable songs. Pure old school contemporary blues. Pure blues, listen to this album and from the first bar you will realize that it's not an oxymoron.
