Born in 1982 in North Carolina and based in Memphis since 2003, where he began playing harmonica in the clubs of Beale Street. After making his recording debut with the album "The Devil Had A Woman" with the band Delta Highway, Santini released his first solo album "Songs of Love, Money and Misery" in 2011, which marked the first time he collaborated with pianist Victor Wainwright. For his second album, "This Time Another Year", he was joined by his friend guitarist Jeff Jensen, who would later co-found the band Tennessee Redemption with him. Jensen eventually left to pursue his solo career, and to replace him, Santini recruited guitarist Timo Arthur, with whom he recorded the excellent "Live & Extended" (2015) and ·The Long Shot" (2019). Both guitarists reunited with Santini to record his latest album, Which Way Do We Go?, the best release to date from the harmonica player.
Brandon Santini is not only a virtuoso of the instrument but also a profound artist, firmly established as the best of his generation, with a promising road ahead. It's not an uncertain future, only hoped that his music continues to move in the right direction. And there’s no doubt that it will.
