Tomislav Goluban (Croatia 1976) is undoubtedly the Croatian blues musician with the greatest international impact. A harmonica player, composer, singer, and producer, Goluban has released sixteen albums recorded in the United States and Croatia, and has toured relentlessly across both countries. He is recognized as a renowned and skilled blues harmonica player in clubs and festivals all over the continent. He began his career in 1997 playing Country Blues and has evolved toward electric blues, developing a unique style that draws from both traditions. Goluban met Californian guitarist Tomas Marsh (Crooked Eye Tommy), and quickly became captivated by his strength and precision. In Zagreb, they recorded a couple of tracks together, which led them to Jasco’s Music Lab in Nashville to finish the rest of the album. During these sessions, the magic occurred as two musicians experienced something for the first time, and their mutual feeling turned into brilliant and timeless songs. This is an unexpected blues due to its intensity, with Goluban’s powerful harmonica grabbing attention from the very first note, while Tommy reveals himself as a blues rock guitarist both practical and incisive, yet elegant. This album will please both classic blues fans and those who favor blues rock.
