Matthew Prozialeck (born in Philadelphia on September 3, 1989) is a sideman, blues harmonica player, singer, and songwriter who has just released his debut solo album. He was a member of the Boston band Erin Harpe & The Delta Swingers from 2015 to 2019, replacing Richard Rosenblatt, the band's co-founder and harmonica player, as well as the owner of Vizztone Label. Prior to this, Prozialeck spent 2014 playing with the blues band The Ed Burns Rhythm & Blues Revue. After leaving Harpe’s band, he became involved in the genesis of the influential GA-20 alongside guitarist Matthew Stubbs and singer/guitarist Pat Faherty, contributing to the band’s first album, Lonely Soul (2019). That same year, he founded The Wandering Ones, a Boston-based band with whom he regularly performed until the pandemic abruptly halted the world. Subsequently, Matt released a couple of solo singles, "What’s Shakin’" (2020) and "Who Do You Think You Are?" (2021), both of which served as a prelude to this first album. On "Highland Avenue", Prozialeck is backed by his GA-20 bandmates Stubbs, Faherty, and Anzalone, turning these eleven songs into one of the best modern electric blues sessions released recently. Four blues musicians who know each other perfectly, locked in a recording studio where they not only have fun but also create extraordinarily infectious music.
