A supergroup is a gathering of musicians who have a proven level of excellence on their own. Rock music gave us the first one, Cream, but it has not been especially prolific in blues music, until Southern Hospitality came along. Victor Wainwright (1981), Damon Fowler (1979) and JP Soars (1969) got together for the first time a decade ago to record "Easy Livin'", an album that achieved a success as unexpected as it was overwhelming. Since then they have continued their solo careers but have also performed live during these ten years. "Yard Sale" has brought them together again in the studio to continue the adventure, three musicians in a state of pure creative blossoming, three privileged instrumentalists and an unrivalled dose of effervescence.
