Boomchank is a project of visceral music that has evolved over time. Two musicians who walk around with ideas that emerge from a substratum of improvisation and mutual complicity. An electric guitar mimetic with blues-rock and unpredictable percussion. The sound that emanates from this new band predicts a spontaneous artistic behavior open to a commitment to the agitation of emotions. Hadden Sayers and Brannen Temple met by chance and a magic arose between them that only appears when it's inevitable. They began to play together and this album was presented as necessary. "Gobabygo!" has the force of a cyclone and the minimalist nudity of two musicians alone with their instruments, a therapy indicated to obviate the dispensable and to influence the enthusiasm of songwriting and playing from responsibility with music and its, in some cases, irresistible unpredictability. Both musicians will continue with their solo projects, but Boomchank will bring them together to discuss new paths for the future of their music.

BRANNEN TEMPLE SOLO
Hadden Sayers (Nacogdoches, TX, 1967) is a blues-rock-soul guitarist with a long and exciting musical career that began in 1990 when he joined the horn section The Silent Partners in Austin. After a stint in Lucky Peterson's touring band, he joined legendary singer Molly Ann Elswick's Miss Molly & The Whips, with whom he stayed for three years and contributed to their first two albums. Finally, in 1995, he founded and led the Hadden Sayers Band, recording the band's first album that same year. With them he recorded his first three albums until 2001 when he debuted as a soloist with "Supersonic", which was followed by seven more works, the last two released in 2018. Sayers is a faithful survivor in the tradition of Texas guitarists such as Jimmie Vaughan, Denny Freeman, Joe Kubek or Mike Morgan.
Brannen Temple (Austin, TX, 1970) is one of the most prolific and demanded session drummers in the United States in recent decades. His versatility as a musician has allowed him to take up the drums to support soul, rock, pop, jazz, blues, funk, latin and americana music musicians. He began his professional career as a drummer, an instrument he has played since he was ten, in the early nineties and his professional activity has not ceased since then. He was a permanent member of Eric Burdon's Animals for five years (2009-2013) and along his more than thirty years of active service he has participated in more than fifty albums and has been a three-time Grammy Award winning drummer. Temple has maintained his own musical projects leading bands such as Hut Buttered Rhythm, Blaze and currently maintains the active band Temple Underground.
