Who's this girl? She has taken her time. Born in the town of Thurgau (northern Switzerland) in 1992, pianist, singer and songwriter, Larissa Baunmann studied music and played the guitar and drums before discovering the piano and her devotion for singing. As an amateur she developed her passion for blues and soul and she began performing on small stages playing the piano and singing, initiating a progressive professionalization within the country's reduced music scene. In 2010 she had her first impact accompanying the Bern-based Australian guitarist Jeff Turner on tour. In 2015 he performed five concerts in Pyongyang (North Korea), achieving a true milestone as an artist due to the Asian country's shielding of any display of Western culture.. The following year, Larissa founded her first professional band, incorporating other musicians into her shows and abandoning her solo stage presence . Her first album "Gotta Get Free" was released in 2020 and achieved widespread recognition among Swiss fans and media, opening the doors to festivals and clubs not only in her country but also in other European stages. Baumann has a sublime voice and uses it fiercely like few other female singers in Europe. This second album has no dark sides, it's all sparkling light.
