Born in 1978, Keito Saito is a piano artist. Classically trained, he studied at the Luxenburg Conservatory and graduated at age 17. In the mid-2000s, together with his brother Moriya, also a pianist, both formed the duo "Les Freres", releasing in 2006 the first of seven albums to date. With the Bulgarian violinist Vasko Vassilev, born in 1970, he formed the duo "Viano" establishing a solid and fruitful musical relationship where both showed their virtuism bringing classicism closer to a mainstream audience. But Keito Saito is an unconditional lover of Boogie Woogie. In Japan, Keito has carried out work to disseminate this genre for an audience that has little introduced to the black and roots music, but eager to know and enjoy the magic of Pete Johnson's fingers. His hands have played the piano in large Boogie stages in Europe, he has performed live and recorded an album with the European master Axel Zwingenberger and "Piano Beat - Drum'n'Boogie" is the third album devoted to the genre. The nature of the music it contains - just piano and drums - never ceases to surprise, not only because of Keito's own skill but also because of the format in which it's presented. In the land of the rising sun you can find good and original Boogie Woogie to enjoy.
