Jerry T. is a French artist who combines photography, design, writer, journalist and, above all, blues musician. Born in 1987, he grew up listening to hard music, metal-rock and nu-metal, later discovering The Who, Sabbath and Led Zeppelin which led him to Jimi Hendrix, Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters. In 2014 he founded The Black Alligators together with some privileged musicians to extrovert his love and devotion to the music of Robert Johnson, the electric blues and the rock'n'roll of Chuck Berry. With very few lineup changes, the Alligators have released six albums all with undoubted commitment and loyalty to classic blues, which they balance with the inclusion of a second guitar and Eric Jemm's tempered sax that give the group an exquisitely particular flavor and novel. As a sign of his interest in not distorting his admiration for his heroes, his repertoire always includes covers distilled with their surprising capacity for connection and good vibes. This new work "Blue No More", in which they surprise again with successful revisions of timeless classics, is a magnificent album, with extroverted music, unbridled electric blues and the culmination of one of the European bands on fire today.
