Formed in 2021, italian combo Jambalaya Blues Band is the union of five friends with a common passion, blues music. With experience in previous blues bands, these five musicians provide guaranteed fun, playing especially five well-oiled covers of Willie Dixon and another two by Robert Johnson and John Lee "Sonny Boy" Williamson, showing themselves as electrifying musicians. They don't contribute anything new but their playing is full of strength, ferocity and respect for the originals, they empathize quickly while not leaving the listener with the feeling of deja vu. It would be very interesting to see what they are capable of with an album with their own compositions. They have to go a little further, from what we've heard so far they can be very interesting.
