Boogie Woogie

     Live !

A reference in the first line of boogie woogie piano in Europe, from Berlin (Germany) Frank Muschalle, born in 1969, started from his classical training to unleash in the music of Meade Lux Lewis and Pete Johnson at the age of twenty. His career has been based on various trio formations, the first in 1990 with Dirk Engelmeyer (drums / vocals) and Matthias Klüter (double bass) until 2001 when he joined the musicians Dani Gugolz (double bass / vocals) and Peter Müller. (drums). Since 2015 his work is linked to the sax and clarinet of Stephan Holstein, both protagonists of this album "Meet Me Where They Play the Blues", a new opportunity to enjoy the generosity and mastery of this extraordinary pianist. Well known among European fans as well as in the main festivals of the continent, he has performed several times in the United States and South America, this thirteenth album is authentic blues and boogie from the beginning to the end only backed by the Holstein horns, painting the music in a canvas full of color and transparencies all framed in a mirror where the professionalism and genius of this musician is reflected with capital letters.
