Originally from Richmond (CA), Ralph Woodson, active since the mid-90s, has been along his career a musician who has surfed on different waves of black music, Reggae, Rap music, African Pop, fuses jazz with Funk, often wanders with soul music and, in parallel to all this, is an exceptional guitarist. There is no place for the music of Jimi Hendrix in this album, but each note of Woodson comes from his catalog. This sixth installment contains only high-caliber blues and few contemporary guitarists can play as he does.
