Michael John "Duke" Robillard at age 71 is an institution for blues music. In the late 60s he founded The Roomful Of Blues and was with the band more than ten years and recorded 3 albums, the same number that he recorded with The Fabulous Thunderbirs along the 3 years he was in the band to replace Jimmie Vaughan. In 1981 he started a career as Duke Robillard Band with which to date has edited 33 albums. Six times BMA winner  in several categories, Robillard has become one of the most exemplary ambassadors of blues music in the world and his legacy is already imperishable.
