Louisiana born, 85-year-old Bobby Rush arrived to Chicago with his family in the mid-50s and became a bluesman. During the rest of the decade and all the 60's he was active as a musician in the  windy city, and in 1978 he released the first album by his own. Good guitarist and excellent haronica player, Rush has reached the last steps of his career in an impressive mood, with an album of the best of all his published work. It's fresh, incisive, modern and bold, funk-blues sung as never before by a master of rhythm and soul. It's a luxury to be able to enjoy albums like this one.
