In 2014 as Jack Roberts Harvey and the excellent album 'Devil On A Dirt Road' and from 2017 as The Resonators, from L.A. Jim Roberts has starred since the mid-seventies in one of the most exciting and maybe little-known episodes of independent blues in the States. Jim is an electrifying slide guitarist capable of mixing different styles to find his own language in songwriting and playing, always with a taste for southern roots, acoustic or electric, playing blues-rock or sliding through the more orthodox blues he always finds the best way to get away from comfort and tease the listener with challenging forays and passages of delightful taste. His current project is called Dobrothersblues together with his friend, the Frenchman Jeff Toto Blues, in which both guitarists have built a wonderful musical tale in which blues music provides the roots and their versatility and complicity provide the rest. After a first album recorded live during their 2016 joint tour, this first studio effort promises a bright future for the duo with high-level capabilities to continue renovating blues music in an intelligent way..

Any true blues fan in France knows the career of guitarist and songwriter Jean-François Thomas, artistically known as Jeff Toto Blues. Born in the town of Brioude, in the French region of Aubergne, he began as an acoustic blues artist in 1995 and his first album in this format was released two years later. He immediately formed a band and has continued to this day having toured every corner of the country where blues was played and has toured the United States several times. It was in 2016 when he met fellow guitarist Jim Roberts in LA, who shortly moved to France, also settling in Aubergne, and he and his new neighbor toured the country in acoustic format, obtaining an excellent reception so they decided to release a live album of those performances. Dobrothersblues was born. In 2023 this second album is released backed by a rhythmic section of three musicians who make the reunion a major work for contemporary blues.
