SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY

Florida Born Damon Fowler is already an indispensable classic for blues-roots music of the last two decades. His music emerges its own and original based on the still permanent echoes of bands that emerged in the South during the seventies such as the Allman Brothers and The Outlaws, capital references of southern guitar rock and composers of generational and emblematic songs. Damon Fowler personalizes the best and most captivating blues rock characteristic of that unique and innovative sound that awakened the sixtties' pop dream of Woodstock. Fowler masters the guitar like few others, he uses the slide and lap steel masterfully, he's a composer of subtlety and superb lucidity and he's a performer as solid as he's exciting. His career emerged in the mid-nineties in small clubs in the Tampa Bay area and in 1999 he released his first album. While his fourth studio album was released in 2011, this year he joined Victor Wainwright and JP Soars in Southern Hospitality, a band that achieved massive recognition with a single album, "Easy Livin'." Damon Fowler is the present of the blues, a guitarist and composer at the lead of the musicians of his generation with an attitude and production without imitators, his albums are absolutely essential.
