In the north of Poland, on the shores of the Baltic Sea, lies the urban area of ​​Tricity, which includes the city of Gdansk. In the streets of the old town of this city, four musicians got together to play the blues. They all came from various Polish bands, from R&B bands to jazz combos, and the adventure finally translated in a new band - Cotton Waves - with which to take a step further towards the consolidation of a solid musical project in which African-American music would be the central axis in their creative process. In 2015 they released a first album - "Fishing & Processing" - which put them in orbit of the blues scene in their country, clubs, festivals and various competitions that they won were enough to increase the popularity of the band that led them to be nominated to attend the 2018 edition of the IBC in Memphis. "Nothing But Life" is their second album, an excellent work in which these four magnificent musicians express their devotion to the blues, gospel and R&B, filtered through their own palette of colors with a result as original as it's fresh.
