Listening to the strength and involvement of Carl Pannuzzo singing "I Can't Try" is the gateway to this legendary band from Melbourne that with different line-ups, maintains a veteran of almost three decades in the Australian underground blues scene. They surfaced during the 2020 IBC edition when, without even winning the contest, they were invited to record this album at the legendary Sun Studios in Memphis. The eleven songs were recorded live in one night, in a crazy five-hour session. The result is this immense album, four musicians superlatives in a state of grace, where improvisation is the only rule, a guitar as precious as it's seductive and a delusional organ that envelops the voice and gives it all to you like a gift you don't expect. These guys deserve more recognition even if it doesn't take them out of their favorite corner.
