BOB CORRITORE
Chicago harmonica master Bob Corritore continues to draw on his vast recording archives recorded over the past two decades, offering to the aficionado true gems that reflect his collaborations with other seminal figures in blues music. After the two installments released in 2023, in which he dedicated the first to his encounters in the studio with female vocalists, and the last with Johnny Primetime Smith, Bob recovers in "High Rise Blues" high-voltage guests, highlighting Bo Diddley, Jimmy Rogers, Eddy Clearwater, Magic Slim or Lil' Ed Williams, all of them in a state of immeasurable grace. Bob and his friends bring a masterpiece of blues music to the listener's ear, it's hard to ask for more from a collection of songs so well performed and with such sincerity transmitted. The work that Bob Corritore is doing with these volumes is of such capital importance that it deserves the greatest recognition and grateful from all lovers of this genre.
