First album of saxophonist and harmonica player Vince Salerno, a musician who has been present for more than four decades in the Chicago blues scene, but it has not been until now that he has released "Grabbing The Blues By The Horns" via independent label Pravda Records. For this he has had the voice and invaluable inspiration of his friend and colleague Gerald McClendon, born in Chicago and with two published albums, who can be considered one of the consolidated and most interesting voices that emerged in the windy city along the last years. The album is chaired by the instrumental lucidity of Salerno and both the powerful and velvety voice of McClendon, surfing the blues, jazz and soul music with an efficiency and conviction that proposes to this album as one of the most pleasant surprises among the latest record productions.
