While in 1965 the garages and basements in the Detroit area were shelters for incipient rock'n'roll bands, there was a band among all that were only  interested in playing Chicago blues. Along their years of survival they didn't publish any album, but they were , together with the band of Paul Butterfield, the best blues band emerged in the mid-sixties in the United States. Friends of Bob Dylan and Mike Bloomfield, the Erlewine brothers must be remembered as true pioneers of the revival blues in that decade, with James Ostenberg (Iggy Pop) on drums warming up the engine for the punk that would be invented a few years later. Now these ten songs from the band come out - recorded in live performances - that are true gems to discover what was happening in times when blues music was still hidden behind very small circles. True pioneers and terrific musicians.
