James Johnson aka Super Chikan (1951) and Terry "Harmonica Bean (1961) both born in the heart of the Mississippi where they still live today, are two of the great  Delta bluesmen who continue to carry with them the tradition inherited from the old songsters who wrote the first known pages of country blues in that area of the southern United States. "From Hill Country Blues To Mississippi Delta Blues" is the latest research work carried out "in situ" on these two musicians released by the Austrian Wolf Records, where the 15 songs on the album alternate between the sessions that each bluesman performed in their own home with the only support of the guitar for Super Chikan and the guitar and harmonica in the case of Bean. Pure heritage in hands of two sons of the devil.
