Harlem's two-piece street band Satan & Adam (Sterling Magee and Adam Gussow) made a significant mark on the blues in the 90's, leaving behind them five iconic albums. Since their last public appearance in the 2013's N.O. Jazzfest, half of their soul, harmonica player Adam Gussow has been in constant motion until he saw the release of the Netflix documentary "Satan & Adam" last 2019, a journey through the magic relationship between two extraordinary musicians. In a similar line, Gussow's new project is called "Sir Rod & The Blues Doctors" with singer Rod Patterson (Mr. Magee's nephew) and guitarist Alan Gross, with a splendid debut album, "Come Together". eleven songs in which once again we can delight ourselves with one of the top blues harmonica players today, a notes and rhythms singer as well as a sensitive and careful guitarist. It is a fun, contagious and delicious album.
