Born in New York in 1953, Ronnie Earl (Ronald Horvath) is the quintessence of the blues guitarist. After replacing Duke Robillard in Roomful of Blues in 1979 he was with the band for nine years, and formed the Broadcasters in 1988, with whom he has recorded more than twenty-five albums since then, has been nominated twenty-eight times and has won four BMA awards, which face  the challenge of being the most precious and prolific blues guitarist of the last three decades. This album "Beyond The Blue Door" is another step in his career, another masterpiece of contemporary modern blues.
