What's going on in Slovenia? In this small and mountainous country hidden between Italy, Austria and Croatia we can also recognize the smoke produced by the ashes of blues music. From the capital Jubljana, with the harmonica and singer Miha Eric in front, the band Prismojeni Professorji Bluesa have been offering good music to their people since the beginning of the decade. It's risky to classify their register as blues music, but if you cross the line that delimits prejudices, you can find some guys who carry the shadow of the devil's music behind them. They swing between blues-rock and pop, look to soul and challenge you with funk and hip-hop, all with a sense of humor and without complexes. Well known in the club circuit of their country, their first album dates from 2016, after which they went to play in the United States for several months, and on the return they released two more albums, one of them live. This latest album "Prismojeni? " Is their fourth installment, they probably won't get the recognition they deserve, but it should help their music to enter circles that, although small, will put them in the right place.
