14-piece orchestra emerged in the city of Milan (Italy) in 2007 and led by saxophonist and music director Lorenzo Vergani, Open Mouth Blues Orchestra, pay worship with their particular emphasis on black music of the 60s and 70s of the 20th century . From the soul of Otis Reding and the funk of James Brown to the generic rock of Sly Stone or the charismatic  omnipresence of Aretha Franklin and the sounds of Stax Records from Memphis reveal the love of these guys for what they do. The four-piece horn section and the three female vocal singers base and give the necessary consistency to their music, always free from clixes and preconceived automatisms, and achieve a perfect environment acclimatizing to their power and interpretive energy.
