"Suburbs of Milan & Black Music de OMBO & NOBEZ

The hidden outskirts of Milan are the settings for the story of Blue Valentine, the underground outlaw queen of the blues nights. The bad guys want to take her, but her best friend and the characters that parade throughout the narration, are going to prevent it. But Valentine also sold her soul at the crossroads, and the blues is going to be on her side. "Street Off" is designed as a book in comic format, a CD with the music of the Open Mouth Blues Orchestra - members from which the characters are inspired - and a video that perfectly reflects the overall idea of the project. With saxophonist and music director Lorenzo Vergani leading the band since creation in 2007, the Open Mouth Blues Orchestra are a 13-piece band that recognize their main inspiration in black music, from jazz and blues to reach the most penetrating soul or the most ruthless funk music. Excellent artists, with this proposal they have made a work of art that goes beyond the purely musical concept that can be expected, containing fantastic illustrations, a smart story and a soundtrack where music is not only to listen to but also serves to empathize with reading and the characters. You don't need to understand Italian to enjoy a production like this, it's blues played and printed.
