MOJO BRUNO & MANISH BOYS PREVIOUS ALBUMS

With roots of ancestors on the island of Guadalupe, Mojo Bruno born in Tolouse (France) carries in his soul the ethnic music of the Caribbean, from the Antilles or Jamaica to spectrum of the "Biguine" musical culture of Martinique, the calypso of Trinidad, the Cuban Son, the Mento of Jamaica or the Merengue of Santo Domingo. All these influences give consistency to the musical DNA of this French multi-instrumentalist, who could be evoked by his eclecticism with Taj Mahal. He formed his band "Manish Boys" in the late 1980s and released his first album in 1995, since then 10 albums in total with the boys. Also in parallel, he has released three solo albums, the last one being "Blues & Others Colored Inventions" from 2020, a work without waste due to the freshness, the contemporaneity and the excellent execution of ubiquitous rhythms. Unprecedented, this is a blues exquisite album.
