Two tributes to the true King of Rock and Roll. Charles Edward Berry (St. Louis 1926 - Wentzville 2017), recorded the song "Maybellene" for Chess Records in 1955 revolutionizing American popular music. As Charlie Parker had done before in jazz music or later Bob Dylan in folk music, Chuck Berry did it from the cradle of modern electric blues, giving speed and a new rhythm to the old blues of Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon or Little Walter . It was the essential black rock'n'roll for the XX century to end with the emergence of a musical phenomenon - pop and rock music - that crossed the limits of the strictly musical, to provide a soundtrack to the most important youth revolution of the history. Chuck Berry is in everyone's mind and heart.
