Kirk Fletcher, Californian born in 1975, is our strong man, the most solid and competent blues guitarist today. Many are the guitarists who could get the title, but none like Fletcher translates the intensity of each note in a simple shot to the heart of the listener. He plays the blues as if his life were in each performance, he grew up listening to black rock'n'roll and his fingers dance between the melodic riff and the most devilish picks. He began his professional career in 1999 with the release of his first album, three years with Kim Wilson's Fabulous Thunderbirds as well as intermittent guitarist with The Mannish Boys have made this bluesman an essential guitarist for contemporary blues panorama. "My Blues Pathway" is his sixth album as a solo artist, a monumental work of inevitable listening.
