With academic musical training, Iker Piris, born in the basque town of Tolosa (Spain) in 1979, is a young composer, guitarist and singer with a prodigious talent put at the disposal of his great passion and emotion to play the blues. He started playing in the late 90s to found his own band The Romanticos in 2009, with whom he has spent on the road for almost ten years and has recorded three splendid albums of rhythm & blues and primitive rock'n'roll. During 2019 he made a superb first album only with his guitar and vocals to unleash his love for country blues. Recently he has just released his Dual Electras (joining forces with the rhythm section of Abdell B. Bop and Andy Martin from France), with the album "Electra", ten original songs in which Piris stands out as an effective and emotional blues guitarist, a beautiful and elegant composer, who surfs between west-coast guitar style, the jump blues and old rock'n 'roll.
