John Fogerty (Berkeley, CA, 1945) was the most prolific and successful rock'n'roll songwriter between 1968 and 1970. During those two years, along with his band Creedence Clearwater Revival, he recorded six essential albums and twenty singles that all of them turned into hymns for their generation. After his break with Fantasy, John Fogerty started a solo career that, although with short periods of musical retreat, has an impeccable strength and consistency. Twelve albums, the first from 1973, all impregnated of the country music and the swamps of Louisiana that have always accompanied Fogerty as a composer, taking all this legacy touring around the world almost without rest. "50 Year Trip", recorded live in June of this year, is his birthday present, the usual songs that we never tire of hearing from our old friend Fogerty.
