JD Taylor grew up in Brownsville (TN) and didn't start his career as a harmonica player and blues musician until he was thirty. He's a musician self-made in Memphis, the city where he learned everything about rock'n'roll, southern-soul, gospel music and, above all, the blues. In 1995 he founded "Little Boys Blue", a elegant blues-band with which he continues to be active today and with whom he has recorded five albums to date, essential to listen to all of them. Finalist of the 1997 IBC awards edition, Taylor has been strengthening his proposal with hundreds of performances by festivals and clubs across the USA, until 2020, when he just has released the first album by his own name  "The Coldwater Sessions", eleven originals backed by an extraordinary selection of the best musicians that can be found today in Memphis. JD Taylor is in the top 10 of the best active blues harmonica players and in this recording he's shown as a major composer as well as a benchmark for the good health of southern root music.
