A young lady in a leather jacket and punk attitude, roaming dark clubs and four-table bars in Brussels at night, with her rockabilly guitar and sweet voice whispering rebellious lyrics. Nothing else could look beyond sustenance until the next day, but the blues got in her way. She took a trip to the roots starting in New Orleans and her first shot was "Let The Demons Out" released in 2017 joining the renowned local band Mams Boy's. She followed the devil's trail to Mississippi two years later, and together with Cody Dickinson, Cedric Burnside and Watermelon Slim she recorded her second attack, "Mississippi Blend" (2019), an extraordinary album with which she achieved greater recognition. And to finish, until now, she has made a stop at the Royal Sound Studios in Memphis, where in the middle of the pandemic, she has decided to fully show all her talent, establishing herself as One Woman Band playing all the instruments and singing her compositions. Ghalia Volt is a polished diamond that should see her trajectory recognized, short but delicious, like a great dama who already has unquestionable merits.
