LOCKDOWN LIVE 2020 - CHERRY OVERDRIVE

Maybe someone is wondering who the hell Erja Lyytinen is. I hope not, but I can give some clues. She found her way after listening to Koko Taylor for the first time, immersing herself in the traditional blues of the Mississippi Delta, putting everything in her backpack and starting a musical career playing that devilish music that had changed her life. With a more than obvious musical learning as a child, Erja immersed herself in also learning the electric guitar and marveled at the way  played it by Elmore James. Sliding the bottleneck over the strings became her addiction. With all this, she released her first album in 2002 and since then twelve albums without waste, tours throughout Europe, performances in the States and Australia and in 2017 recognition as "The Best Guitarist of the Year" in the European Blues Awards. That's Erja Lyytinen, a woman at the top of her career giving us the best blues-rock that is produced today in the blues scene around the world.
