Blues is her first music. Born in Jamaica Plain (MA) and based in Boston, Erin Harpe has a heavenly voice to sing the blues and plays the guitar as if it were a Delta devilish native. During her professional career that began in 2010, she has combined her devotion to country blues in acoustic formats with the electric sound of her band Delta Swingers, always alongside her producer and bassist husband Jim Countryman. The six atudio albums released to date are a lesson in honesty and complicity with the music she learned and absorbed as a child, blues music endowed with emotion and sincerity like few other artists of her generation. "Meet Me In The Midle" was recorded in June at her home during quarantine, and represents her particular veneration for the roots of this music that has accompanied her throughout her life and shows its virtues by paying tribute to all of them. A blues album in style.
