Daniel Smith, born in London but of Scottish adoption (he moved to the north lands aged 1), has starred in a life of love for music as well as the will to overcome multiple sclerosis diagnosed a few years ago. From a deep artistic family, as a child he studied classical piano while learning the notes of blues and boogie woogie from his father's old records and from the lessons he received from grandfather. In November 1999 he founded his own band Daniel Smith Blues Band, and published his first album. Since then twenty years have passed in which he has recorded thirteen more albums, he turned away from music because of the disease and returned stronger than ever after three years, he married a Spanish woman and moved to live together in the lands Southern Spain. Now twenty years later since his record debut, Daniel Smith offers us three albums and an EP in which he celebrates the music that has filled his life, and shows himself as an incredible boogie-woogie and blues pianist perfectly recovered for enjoy of any fan in search of music felt from the soul.
