Clarence "Tex" Walker (USA)
"A Drifter In The Blues"
Blues Archive - 2020

Release date: October 1, 2020

Clarence "Tex" Walker, who died in 2007, didn't get the recognition his talent would have deserved. He toured the world with his band The Walker Street Blues Band after putting his voice at the service of rock'n'roll and Doo-Wop of The Drifters during the sixties and record and touring with Big Joe Turner in the nineties. This recording takes us back to a concert of his held in England in 1999 and reveals his greatness as a blues singer. "A Drifter In The Blues Live" is an explicit recognition of one of so many legends that has gone unnoticed by audiences of black music of all time.
