DISCOGRAPHY
"Ne me quitte pas" (jaques Brel)
Behind Bonny B. is the musician Su Pheaktra Chanmongkho, born in 1974 in Cambodia and living in Switzerland since 1979, where he and his family obtained the status of political refugee fleeing from the communist regime of the Khmer Rouge. There he discovered the harmonica and a love for blues music. After playing in various bands in Switzerland, in 1998 he moved to Chicago where he interacted with the city's bluesmen playing clubs and gaining notoriety. In 2000 he released the first of his seventeen albums to date and it was in 2005 when the Dixiefrog label opened the doors to the American market for him with the release of the album "Something's Wrong". An intense and prolific career for a musician with roots far from African-American culture who has achieved a prominent place in the universe of blues music. In February 2021 he plans to publish his new album called "Freedom".
