(1925-2020)
Do you have any doubt about the most versatile and multifaceted blues harmonica player in Chicago today? Bob Corritore is your man. Born in the city sixty-four years ago and professional musician from 1999, since then he has recorded fifteen albums by his own and has joined innumerable sessions for other artists, currently being the most requested harmonica in any studio session from coast to coast in which blues music is the law. In May of this year he released his last album with John Primer "The Gypsy Woman Told Me", and now he gift us from his archives with the update - via Vizztone Label - of two museum pieces from his catalog, "Travelin' The Dirt Road " with Dave Riley (2007) and "Phoenix Blues Sessions" with Kid Ramos (2012). The latest installment is the unreleased "Cold Chills" recovering recordings that he made with the illustrious Louisiana pianist Henry Gray throughout their many years of playing together. No comment is necessary. Just enjoy it !
