From Barcelona (Spain) Blas Picón is singer, guitarist, drummer and songwriter passionate of blues music. In 2002 he formed his first band The Lazy Jumpers recording two studio albums (2003/2005) to continue with a new project, The Nu Niles and a new and emblematic album (2009). In a step forward, two years later he dressed The Junk Express, band that opened him the doors to the environment of the Spain blues circuit , recording three more albums and leaving behind him long hours of live performances earning the credit of being among the the best blues harp player in his country, and in Spain there are very good ones. Blas Picón's latest project is called Three Times Loser and has just released his first album "Blas Picon's Three Time Losers" where, in trio format - harmonica / washboard, electric guitar and double bass - they propose 9 originals composed by Picón , all of them drinking from country blues, that harmonize through the excellent performance of three musicians full of honesty, rapport and skill. I would say recordings like this are no longer made.
